Like I said a few years back Al Saunders should have been hired as head coach. But carl wanted his buddy instead, now look at the chiefs 4 wins this year. Herman has competely destroyed what was a good offense, of course a new coach doesn't want anothers left overs and wants build and whole new team.
If Al would have been made head coach along with a better defense I guarantee you the chiefs would be a lot further along than they are today.

Him and others should be fired......next game 30Dec.07 someone needs to set up....against the Jets. i am going to wear a paper sack on my head for the last game. i love the chiefs but the coaches and peterson are going in the wrong drection, we have players out hurt but the coaching staff should /MUST find ways to win....four wins this year...... maybe 4 wins next year. the team needs to be rebuild we need a owner/coach that picks up players that are going to help the team. not hurt them like on def. on 3rd down plays we stink no off line to protect the qb. what qb???? heck, pick up Vick when he gets out of jail. sorry guys just venting we need HELP. Why didn't we pickup parcells? |

What a lousy season, who would have thought that sittin at 4-3 we would not win another game all season,Maybe with Clark Hunt in charge now he might make some moves ,we can't do any worse.I'll give Herm another year, but he must make some changes like a new OC,and look for alot of new personell next season,we have got some good young players to build around, and lets hope they don't do something stupid and not sign JA.Keep the faith Chief fans. |

Christ, y'all sure do seem to think everyone else's job is easy. I'd like to see any of you do a better job than either Carl Peterson or Herm Edwards.
I'll admit that I'm often frustrated by decisions made by these two. I'll even go as far as to say that Herm's strategy to "build a team designed to win close games" is flat out idiotic. But steps are being taken in the right direction. 4 offensive coaches have been fired. Herm is scrapping the playbook and starting on one featuring a more balanced attack based around the tools the team has. Carl Peterson has admitted his mistake of neglecting the offensive line and has directly addressed it as a problem!
We have 10 draft picks this year, not to mention a TOP 5 pick in the 1st round! This fact play into the one strength our organization seems to have: player personnel. Herm drafts well, no one can argue that. Tamba Hali, Bernard Pollard, Jarrad Page, and Dwayne Bowe (and time may prove Tank Tyler, Turk McBride, Kolby Smith, and Brodie Croyle) are living proof. Additions such as Donnie Edwards, Napoleon Harris, and Ty Law don't hurt, nor does the apparent dedication to retaining the few valuable veterans the Chiefs boast (the 4 wins we managed wouldn't have happened without the likes of Larry Johnson, Tony Gonzalez, and Jared Allen, all of whom have been in danger of slipping away from the team).
This years draft status, coupled with more than comfy salary cap room, should result in a much bolstered team in the season to come.
Hang in there guys.

| CP has been there almost twenty years and still hasn't gotten it done and now were back to the five year plan, allot of blame should go to CP.I'm still not sold on Herm, but I'll give him couple of more seasons to prove himself,he seems to be a good judge of talent, still it will be another year or two before we see any results we just have to hang in there. |
